His background as a former prosecutor and deputy general counsel provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal system from every angle. Known for his disciplined preparation, strategic insight, and relentless advocacy, David represents clients with precision, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to achieving results.  

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER/PARALEGAL/CASE ANALYST

Shawna’Lee Futrelle is the Chief Operating Officer, Paralegal, &  Case Analyst, bringing a multidisciplinary background in law, business operations, innovation, & design. Her key role in case analysis, firm operations, brand development, and strategic execution, with experience spanning legal services, public relations, human resources, and healthcare. Known for her analytical precision, operational leadership, and advocacy-driven approach, Shawna’Lee supports clients and counsel with clarity, efficiency, and unwavering commitment to justice.

SENIOR PARALEGAL/FIRM ADMINISTRATOR

 Danci Davies is the Senior Paralegal and Firm Administrator, bringing a strong foundation in legal operations, case management, and client advocacy across family, criminal, civil, and business law. She plays a central role in case preparation, firm administration, and procedural execution, supporting attorneys through every phase of litigation. Known for her precision, organizational leadership, and client-centered approach, Danci combines analytical insight with empathy to ensure matters are handled with efficiency, integrity, and care. 

PRE-LAW LEGAL OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

 Jacob as a Pre-Law Legal Operations Associate, bringing a disciplined background in regulatory compliance, operational support, and precision-based environments. He supports firm operations through document management, procedural accuracy, and case preparation assistance, with experience spanning public service, industrial safety, and technical manufacturing. Known for his reliability, analytical focus, and commitment to professional growth, Jacob contributes to the firm’s efficiency and is preparing to pursue law school in furtherance of a long-term legal career. 

LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 Madi’C Elaine is a Legal  Administrative Assistant, bringing a strong foundation in legal support, case coordination, and office operations. She plays an integral role in document management, client communications, and procedural support, with experience supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas. Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability, Madi supports clients and legal teams with efficiency, discretion, and a clear commitment to excellence. 

OUTREACH COORDINATOR

 Kaci, a Realtor and Property Manager for Elgin Realty is also our Outreach Coordinator, bringing a service-driven background in client relations, office administration, healthcare advocacy, and community engagement. She serves as a key point of connection between the firm, its clients, and external partners, supporting outreach initiatives, intake coordination, and operational communication. Known for her reliability, discretion, and people-first approach, Kaci ensures every interaction reflects professionalism, clarity, and a strong commitment to client support. 

ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS/COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER

 Elaina serves as the Accounting Operations & Community Relations Manager, bringing an extensive background in financial compliance, operations management, and client-focused communication. She supports the firm through accounting coordination, administrative oversight, and strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality across internal processes. Known for her diligence, adaptability, and results-driven mindset, Elaina strengthens firm operations and community engagement through precision, professionalism, and trusted support. 

MANAGER OF IT OPERATIONS AND INFORMATION SECURITY

 Mark is the Manager of IT Operations & Information Security, bringing extensive experience in enterprise IT support, cybersecurity, and operational governance across large-scale, high-compliance environments. He oversees the firm’s technology infrastructure, security posture, and systems reliability, ensuring secure access, data integrity, and uninterrupted operations. With a strong foundation in cybersecurity, quality control, and process optimization, Mark supports attorneys and staff through resilient systems, proactive risk management, and technology solutions aligned with the firm’s strategic and compliance objectives.

Romi’Rai takes her job seriously—guarding the firm, supervising clients, and offering very large hugs to anyone who’s nice to her. Fair warning: she’s 91 lbs and fully believes she’s a lap dog. She loves treats (a little too much), so while she’ll absolutely try to convince you she’s starving, Team Law Dawc kindly asks you not to fall for it—no matter how dramatic the stare. Loyal, loving, and just the right amount of ridiculous, she keeps the office safe, smiling, and never short on personality.
